Hi there, Gwen here !
In 2022, I left my life in Burgundy to try my luck in Toronto via the very popular WHV. Since then, my suitcases (or backpacks) have become my second home. Today, I’m in the middle of a van road trip in New Zealand, an adventure as unpredictable as it is unforgettable.
Why this blog?
Born to Be Abroad is much more than a travel diary. It’s a way for me to share my experiences, practical advice, and problems (yes, even the ones where my van breaks down in the middle of a roundabout). My aim? To help you plan your own adventures, whether you’re planning a WHV, a long trip, or just a weekend away from it all. And if I can make you smile or give you a little push to dare to take the plunge, then my mission is completed!
